Are you new to horses, and struggling to understand their language?

Have you adopted a horse who is more than you can handle?

Would you like to get out on the trail and start enjoying your horse?

Hi, I'm Brigid Wasson, and I can help!

I use a combination of clicker training and natural horsemanship to bring out the best in you and your horse. Private and semi-private riding lessons/training sessions are offered at your facility. All training starts with basic handling, safety, and equine know-how from the ground. From there we progress to lunging and liberty work, and in-hand exercises. Only when this is solid do we move on to riding, first in an enclosed area, then out in the real world.

Training also available for babies.

It's a big mistake to wait till a horse is two or three years old to start training; by then they may be fearful, pushy, hard to handle, and -- not to mention -- full size! Basic handling can start from day one and progress to grooming, hoof trimming, leading/in hand, and liberty work. If you do this, by the time your horse is old enough to be ridden, he'll know 90% of his cues, which will make your life (and his) a whole lot easier.

Lessons and full training available.

 Testemonials from clients:

"Yesterday, I attended Brigid's clicker clinic. The clinic lasted 3
hours. It took me almost 4 hours to drive to it. It was well worth it
and I will gladly get up at 4:00am to do it again when she has the
next one. I learned what I was doing right, but more importantly, I
learned what I was not doing and what I needed to work on. She has a
pleasant and relaxed way of dispensing information. With safety and
the comfort of both you and your horse in mind, she gets right to it
and has everyone clicking in no time!  Before the clinic, I was
getting to a point where I did not know what to work on next. After
the clinic I am excited all over again, like a new beginning!!! Two
thumbs up and 5 stars for Brigid. Or should I say a C/T + jackpot!"
